RFJ Submission to ECtHR Cttee of Ministers 2017

The above is a link to the RFJ submission to the Committee of Ministers (CoM) made in May 2017 in respect to the ongoing failure of the UK to provide adequate Article 2 investigations into conflict related killings. The link is to the official European Court of Human Rights and the CoM website.

The UK failed to respond to our submission including that of the Committee on the Administration of Justice (CAJ) asking instead for a two month extension.

The hearing is now scheduled for September 19th to 20th.

We have today made a second submission updating on recent court judgments in the cases of Flynn, Bell, Finucane, Glenanne, and the NI Retired Police Officers Asspciation challenge to Police Ombudsman report findings on Loughinisland.

RFJ also address in today’s submission, the impact delay is having on families.

Today’s submission will be available post the September hearings and the UK response.
